Lena Says #5

A few days ago in the kitchen.

Lena: "Mommy can I please have some big milk?"

Me: "Sure."

Lena: "Yay!  I don't want no little milk."

Lena Says #4

So we went up to the Adirondaks for Columbus Day Weekend.  It was quite fun.  The last night we were there about an hour after we had put Lena to bed we hear the doorknob and a footed-PJed-pacifiered-wild-haired-blankey-dragging girl walks into the center of the living room, stops, and announces, "I'm done sleeping. Why? Because I'm awake."    ok then.

Lena Says #3

Sheryl:  "Lena can you sing me a song?"
Lena: "Sure." (begins singing)  "A B C D X Y Z I don't know my A B Cs"


Lena looking at a bag of popcorn: "Mommy can I have some corn pops?"


Also, within the past 5 days Lena has hit the "why" stage and hit it hard.  She. Asks. Why. All. Day. Long.  and she even asks it to herself rhetorically...

Lena to no one:  "I'm crying! Because why? I fell down."

An Apple A Day

Saturday we went apple picking with "Aunt Kwistin and Uncle Matty".  Gorgeous weather, crispy cider donuts, happy kiddos... an all-around great day.  Aunt Kristin took some pictures and here are a few of her great shots:

Lena Says #2

Lena:  "Daddy, get up, you can't sit in that chair!"
Mike: "Hey Lena you're not the boss."
Lena after a second of thought:  "Mmm, yea, only Mommy."

I decided I'll make periodic quick posts with the funny things Lena says.  How's today for the first post?

Anyone at any time of day:  "Lena what time is it?"
Lena: "Thirty clock nine."


Mike while wearing a tshirt featuring both a Steeler and a Pgh Penguin hockey player: "Lena, what's on Daddy's shirt?"
Lena: "Ummm, hockball players."


Kim: "Lena, do you have to go potty? You haven't gone potty all day."
Lena: "No, I just went potty."
Kim, sarcastically: "Oh yea? when?"
Lena: "Thursday"
