Some things we do in the winter

Here are some things we do during winter:

- put on coats and hats and gloves and boots
- take off coats and hats and gloves and boots
- shiver
- put wood in the woodburning stove
- put more wood in the woodburning stove
- try to load all the kids in the van when the side doors are all frozen shut
- dream of warmer weather

We do some other things too I guess.  And at least when there's snow Mike and Lena get days off from school which is fun.  And Lena and James make up jokes now that they think are funny, Bubby's take on knock-knock jokes is particularly amusing (see below).

And there you have it.  Lena and James are best buds and super chatt-y.  Cole loves food now and is crawling all over (using the elbows&toes method, which is funny).  Lena takes ballet class every Thursday.  James is obsessed with construction vehicles.  Cole has all the hair.  It's so cold and snowy and I can't wait for SPRING.

another month gone

So.  Hi.  It's been a month.  Oops.  

Here are some things that happened:

Olney High (where Mike works) had their Monster Mash Dance so we went and took the kids who had a blast:

Then Halloween happened.  More fun was had by all.

Then Mike took the kids to the park and they raked a giant pile of leaves.  More fun:
