Beatin' the heat

The heat is on.  It's hot here in Philadelphia.  And the car was getting worked on today so Lena and I were stuck at the house.  We created a little impromptu kiddie pool using an infant bathtub and spent the first half of the day out on the back slab and then when the sun shifted over the house we moved our water playland to the front porch.  Yes, we are those people.  Sometimes you just gotta do whatcha gotta do.

Anyway, Dave brought out his super awesome camera and shot these awesome shots of the morning out on the back slab:

and The Patch was around to make sure everyone was ok.

Month 10.

Today Lena is ten months old.  So old!  Cutting all sorts of teeth, saying all sorts of "words", climbing all sorts of things, eating all sorts of foods, and being all sorts of cute.  She is seeming more and more "toddler" and less and less "baby" lately.  I guess it's only a matter of time anyway.

The video below is from yesterday.  It documents how Lena spends most of her mornings, standing at the front door babbling away to many a passerby.  And then when she gets tired of that she goes and torments the poor dog, but that is not documented below for your viewing pleasure today.
