Scene:  I am sitting at the table going through some bills, kids are playing on the floor

Lena:  Mom, the ribbons are mean.

Me: What? What do you mean?

Lena: The ribbons are mean.

Me:  Ribbons?  Ribbons aren't people so they're not nice or mean...  do you mean "ribbons"?

Lena:  No (insert eye roll), ribbons are at Uncle Matty & Aunt Kristin's (they have a craft room).  The ribbons are mean because their mommies didn't hug them enough.  The Steelers are nice.

Me: WAIT, do you mean the "Ravens"?

Lena:  yea, like football

Me:  Ohhhhh, I see.  One day Daddy told you the Ravens are mean and the Steelers are nice, right?

Lena: Yep.

Me:  hahahahahaha!  (text to mike at work about successfully brainwashing his daughter)
